To Cut or Not to Cut

Jared and I have been allowing Tanner to grow his hair to show his individuality. He asked us to quit cutting it months ago after he saw a picture of Willy Nelson! Jared and I both agreed he could go shaggy as long as it wasn't in his eyes or over his collar.

Well, we found pictures of our little boy with a fresh hair cut and we had forgotten just how nice it looked. This is Tanner last summer:

I started commenting that we would probably cut it this week since it's getting so hot. He didn't really object too much. I've made several comments now and he seems on board. Thankfully his buddy Corbin who was also growing his hair came to church with a much shorter do (Thank you Alisa!). I want to encourage him to be himself vs always following Brennan's lead but at the same time I don't want people confusing him with cousin "It."
