In the midst of all the banks going under our mortgage company went belly up last night. My mom said, "So does that mean your house is free!" She was kidding of course but man I wish!
Apparently there's no need for panic. They were bought by another company and now we'll just have to write our checks late to someone else :) There surely should be some kind of kickback for the homeowners affected by our lenders not being able to pay their bills. Couldn't we have a year without penalties, a month without payment or something? After all they understand being a little strapped.
My only question is, "Who do I send my house payment to?"
