You Ol' Snake in the Grass
Lookie what I found in the back yard. Our dog Sophie was barking incessantly this afternoon. I decided to find out what the big deal was.. When I went out back I hadn't ever seen her so jumpy before. Well this huge ol' snake may be why...

Good grief! You sound so calm!!! Did you kill it? I'll bet you didn't. Probably wanted the boys to all see it! Oh my goodness! Gives me the creeps!
Nope, didn't kill it. I was pretty hesitant to let the kids get near it though. It was the largest snake I'd seen in years and I didn't know what kind it was. Sophie was hilarious and the most jumpy I'd ever seen her. They eat all the kinds of things I don't want in my yard so I let it go on it's slithery way.
